The Noank Aquaculture Cooperative works closely with the National Grid Foundation and the Peconic Land Trust to determine what projects should be funded with the proceeds generated by the sale of our oysters.

The National Grid Foundation
National Grid contributes millions of dollars every year to deserving programs, most notably in energy, education and the environment.

The Peconic Land Trust
Peconic Land Trust conserves Long Island’s working farms, natural lands, and heritage for our communities now and in the future.

The Noank Aquaculture Cooperative
A group of small scale shellfish growers based in Noank, Connecticut and Southold, NY dedicated to growing shellfish in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. We grow premium oysters, Peconic Pearls, that generate proceeds for projects that benefit the Peconic Estuary.
